‘Paramporul’ movie is based on a gripping story says Shakti Film Factory Sakthivelan

Mani Ratnam, Suhasini Mani Ratnam release the trailer of ‘Paramporul’, a film set in the backdrop of idol smuggling

Movie is releasing in Theatres from September 01

Kavi Creations’ debut production venture ‘Paramporul’ is written and directed by C. Aravind Raj, who worked as an assistant director to acclaimed filmmaker Ram. Young actor Amithash has teamed up with actor Sarath Kumar for this pulsating crime drama, set in the backdrop of idol smuggling crimes.

While Manoj and Girish have produced the film, Sakthivelan of Sakthi Film Factory is releasing it. Film director Balaji Sakthivel, Charles Vinod, T Siva, Vincent Asokan, Gajaraj, Balakrishnan, Bhava Chelladurai and others are playing key roles in ‘Paramporul’.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for the film. ‘Richie’-fame cinematographer Pandi Kumar has taken care of the cinematography while Nagooran, who gained attention with his work in ‘Don’, ‘Sani Kaayitham’, ‘Rocky’ and ‘Ettu Thottakal’, is the Editor.

Kumar Gangappan is the Art Director, Dinesh Subbarayan is the Stunt Trainer, Sathish Krishnan is the Choreographer and Poornima Ramaswamy is the Costume Designer of this film.

The trailer launch and press meet of ‘Paramporul’ was held in Chennai on Monday evening. The trailer was released by director Mani Ratnam and actress-director Suhasini Mani Ratnam.

I enjoyed watching this movie and wanted to be part of it. Even before the release of Sarathkumar sir’s recently released blockbuster film ‘Porthozhil’, I got myself involved in ‘Paramporul’. The film is very well made. All have contributed immensely. The movie is based on a gripping story. Amithash has given an excellent performance. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is a major strength of the film. ‘Paramporul’ is sure to be a hit.
