‘ORU NODI’ – First Tamil Film to release TEASER and TRAILER on the same day in two different mediums!
‘Stylish actor ARYA released today the TEASER of the film ‘ORU NODI’, presented by G. Dhananjeyan, of Creative Entertainers and Distributors (CEAD). CEAD is known for producing films like ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’ and has distributed theatrically super hit films ‘Ivan Thanthiran’, ‘Kolaigaran’ and ‘Kodiyil Oruvan’. CEAD is also involved in releasing films digitally and has released several films in popular OTT platforms including titles like ‘Irudhi Pakkam’, ‘Kayamai Kadakka’, ‘The Parole’, ‘Erumbhu’ ,‘Mathimaran’ and recently ‘Marakkuma Nenjam’.
While the Teaser is released today online by Saregama Music company, for the first time in Tamil Cinema, the TRAILER of the film is released simultaneously in over 150 screens across Tamil Nadu. The objective of the release of two different formats is to give a glimpse of the film through teaser to online audiences and give a complete view on the film through a trailer to theatrical audience, two weeks prior to the film’s release.
‘Oru Nodi’ promises something special and a new kind of cinematic experience to audience. It features Thaman Kumar in the lead role, who received appreciation for his film as Hero in ‘Thottal Thodarum’ and also featured in a good role in films like ‘Ayothi’. The film is a debut directorial venture of B. Manivarman and produced by Madurai Azhagar Production Company and White Lamp Pictures.
‘Oru Nodi’, promises to be a ground-breaking addition to Tamil cinema and boasts an impressive cast, including Thaman Kumar, M. S. Bhaskar, Vela Ramamoorthy, Pala. Karuppiah, Deepa Shankar, and Siva Ranjini in pivotal roles. The cinematography is skilfully handled by KG Ratheesh, with SJ Ram overseeing the film’s art direction. The debut Music Director, Sanjay Manickam, and Editor S Guru Suriya have proficiently contributed to the film.
‘Oru Nodi’ introduces a new genre to Tamil audiences, showcasing the love and sincerity of a new-age producer, a fresh director, a budding actor supported by an eminent film producer converging to create a new era of mystery crime thriller in Tamil cinema. The film promises intense knots of mystery and well-placed scenes.
‘Oru Nodi’ is currently under censor certification process and the release date is fixed by the team as 26th April. PVR Cinemas is releasing the film in City-Chenglepat areas, Popular Exhibitor Shri Tirupur Subramaniam is releasing in Coimbatore territory. In Overseas territory, TentKotta is distributing the film. The distributors of other territory to be finalized in due course. The audio launch of the film is scheduled in the coming days.
