iD – Chennai’s Everyday Soulful, opened its newest branch at Uptown Kathipara, Guindy

iD, that has been delighting customers since the opening of its very first outlet in 2009, continues to serve some lip smacking authentic South Indian vegetarian food for its customers. The menu has a host of  South Indian delicacies including Idli, Dosa, Vada, Poori, Pongal and Idiyappam (to name a few) complemented by an assortment of chutneys and traditional sambar. Their menu is also known for the beverages they offer like the Kumbakonam Degree Coffee, Tea, Buttermilk, Rose Milk, Fresh Juice and Nannari Sarbath. And last but not the least, the iD menu also offers some mouth watering sweets.. the crowd favourite being the melt-in-your-mouth Kasi halwa!

iD as a restaurant concept, was designed to retain all the goodness and tradition that people love about authentic South Indian food while being presented in a contemporary and chic environment. This thought is translated in the way the space has been thoughtfully designed – The interiors are elegant and the addition of wall art makes the space more modern and interesting. The furniture are sleek yet comfortable and the seats designed by the live counter elevates the mood as it makes the experience more interactive.

iD’s outlet at Uptown Kathipara, Guindy promises to be extra special to its customers. Apart from this outlet being the first ever iD branch to be open 24/7, the extensive South Indian menu will now be infused with a splash of the north through the inclusion of their new chaat venture, ‘Chaat by iD’. From serving  classics like the Bhel Puri, Pani Puri to some with an exciting and unique twists like the Sev Papdi Chaat dip and Hakka Bhel, ‘Chaat by iD’ aims to serve customers the heart of North Indian street food with a soul.

To further strengthen the iD community, the branch will also be launching a loyalty program, to reward their regular customers and to further celebrate the sense of community that they create every day.

Including this brand new outlet, iD currently has five standalone locations, the remaining spread across the city in Harrington Road, Nexus Mall (Vadapalani), The Marina Mall (OMR) and their flagship restaurant inside the Chennai Domestic Airport. Apart from the above, a series of outlets that cater mainly to corporate clients are situated at DLF IT Park (Porur), RMZ (Porur), Amazon (OMR) and Ascendas.
