Women’s entrepreneurship conference held in Chennai, Tansim, Government of Tamil Nadu, in association with Women’s Entrepreneurship Development Organization has created “Tamil Nadu Start-up – Chennai Women’s Circle”. After the event, Vaishali Rameshbabu, a women’s chess player, was awarded the Visionary Achiever Award.
WEDO – Women Entrepreneurship Development Organisation in supported by Tamilnadu Startup Mission and Naturals conducted Visionary Women conference for “Women Entrepreneurs” and aspirants today in Chennai. The conference was organised for developing, encouraging and educating women entrepreneurs. Tamilnadu Govt organisation TANSIM launched “Tamilnadu Start-up – Chennai Women Circle” in association with WEDO in the presence of IAS officer “Mrs Innocent Divya – Managing Director-Tamilnadu Skill Development Corporation”, Mr Shivarajah –, Mission Director “Tamilnadu Startup Mission” and Mr CK Kumaravel , Founder Naturals Salons and Kadambari – Founder WEDO.-“Visionary Pride Award” was awarded to Bronze Medal Winner “Vaishali Rameshbabu” during the event. 
Various Business opportunities , Workshops by experts was organised at the event.(WEDO). WEDO is an ecosystem nurturing women entrepreneurship across India and has been operational since 2015. Over 10000 women entrepreneurs have benefitted from WEDO’s services so far. has been consistently taking measures to empower women entrepreneurs across India and this Visionary Women Conference is one such initiative – Says Kadambari.
The agenda of the conference was to empower upcoming and growing women entrepreneurs. The conference had value for every woman from existing women entrepreneurs to aspiring women entrepreneurs and homemakers. With over hundreds of women entrepreneurs at the event it was a good networking and learning opportunity for women entrepreneurs. The conference also presented business opportunities for women who are aspiring to start a business of their own.
