UGC has granted Sathyabama institute of Science and Technology as Category-l Deemed to be University as per the provisions of the UGC Regulations, 2018.
Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology Chancellor Dr. MARIAZEENA JOHNSON said that The institution has grown with the vision of founder Chancellor Dr.Jeppiaar in the past three and half decades imbibed with the intention of producing effective technical and ethical man power to the nation. Our visionary leader Dr.Jeppiaar ideology about education was infused into our system and thereby today we are marching ahead by surpassing challenges and making many milestones in this humble and successful journey.
She also stated that the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has graded the Institution with “A++ “is one such achievement in 2023. I am also happy to share that UGC has granted Sathyabama lnstitute of Science and Technology as Category-l Deemed to be University as per the provisions of the UGC (categorization of Universities for Grant of Graded Autonomy) Regulations, 2018.
