KATTANKULATHUR, SRM Global Hospitals has successfully completed a donor liver transplantation on a 56-year-old man. The man, suffering from End Stage Liver Disease, has now recovered well and is actively engaged in his daily routine.

Procedures at the Institute of Liver and Gastro Sciences began with a thorough evaluation of his fitness for liver transplantation, a crucial step in ensuring its success. “We noticed that the patient had a triple vessel heart disease. We were not deterred by this additional complication and were able to address it promptly through a stenting procedure,” said Dr. Srinivasan, Senior Consultant, Surgical Gastroenterology, along with the team of doctors Dr. Rajesh, DM. Dr. Ramalingam, DM. (Medical Gastroenterologist) and Dr. Srinivasan MCH, Dr. Nirmal MCH (Surgical Gastroenterologist) SRM Global Hospitals’ Institute of Liver and Gastro Sciences.
