The culinary world witnessed a dazzling display of talent and expertise as over 60 teams of two chefs each participated in QuizBites 2.0, a prestigious culinary quiz exclusively for chefs. Hosted at the Ispahani Centre, Nungambakkam, Chennai, this event brought together culinary maestros from different parts of South India in a thrilling competition of gastronomic knowledge and skill.

Organized by Ispahani Centre in collaboration with South Indian Culinary Association (SICA), QuizBites 2.0 showcased the depth of culinary talent present in the region. Chefs travelled from various corners of South India to demonstrate their prowess and compete for the coveted title.

Celebrity Chef Damodaran who incidentally is the President of SICA graced the occasion with his presence. He was accompanied by Chef Sheetharam Prasaad, General Secretary of SICA as well as other dignitaries. The Director of Ispahani Centre, Mr. Kesan was also present along with Dr. Senthil, the MD of Anjali Oils the title sponsor of the event.

SICA played a pivotal role in orchestrating the event, ensuring seamless coordination and providing a platform for chefs to showcase their talents. The association’s patronage and support were integral to the success of QuizBites 2.0, underscoring its commitment to nurturing culinary excellence and camaraderie within the industry.

Anjali Oils, a renowned name in the culinary world, served as the title sponsor for the event, further elevating its prestige and significance. The culinary quiz encompassed a range of topics, from traditional recipes and cooking techniques to culinary history and global cuisine trends, challenging participants to demonstrate their comprehensive understanding of the culinary arts.
