‘Pizza-4’ produced by S. Thangaraj’s Thangam Cinemas and C.V. Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment stars Abi Hassan as protagonist

After the hat-trick success of the first three parts of ‘Pizza’ series, which has set a new trend for horror films in Tamil film industry, the shooting of its fourth installment ‘Pizza 4’ is set to begin in January.

Produced by S. Thangaraj’s Thangam Cinemas and C.V. Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment, the film will feature Abi Hassan of ‘Kadaram Kondan’ and ‘Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal’ fame, as protagonist. It is to be noted that Abi Hassan is son of popular actor Nassar.

Speaking about the film, producer C. V. Kumar said, “Following the success of the first three parts of ‘Pizza’, we are very happy to produce the fourth installment. I am confident the film will meet the expectations of the fans and continue the success journey of ‘Pizza’. The shooting will begin after Pongal.”

Giving more details, he said, “SJ Arjun, who worked on the screenplays of films including ‘Ratsasan’, ‘Mark Antony’ and ‘Soodhu Kavvum 2’, has written the story and screenplay of ‘Pizza 4’. A strong team has joined forces for this project. Details of the director, other cast members and technical team will be revealed soon.”

Expressing happiness about acting in ‘Pizza 4’, Abi Hassan said, “Knowing producer CV Kumar since childhood, it’s a great pleasure and honour to act in his film for the first time. I am happy that he has chosen me for ‘Pizza 4’ as he is reputed for promoting quality stories and talented youngsters.”

“‘Pizza 4’ will do complete justice to the first three installments, and will be a thrilling treat for the fans, by staying different from the usual horror films. I am looking forward to the commencement of the shoot,” said Abi Hassan.
