Rashmika Mandanna – Actor
Rashmika Mandanna, responding to the loud cheers from the fans, playfully said, “I love you too!” She expressed her heartfelt thanks to Sekhar Kammula for inviting her into his cinematic world and revealed her desire to collaborate with Dhanush again, this time in a full-fledged romantic film.
Devi Sri Prasad – Music Director
Devi Sri Prasad thanked the fans and audience for their unwavering love and the overwhelming response to Kuberaa’s songs — Poyivaa Nanba and Trance of Kuberaa. Recalling his musical journey with Dhanush, from Kutty to Venghai and now Kuberaa, he said he eagerly looks forward to this successful combo delighting audiences again.
Sekhar Kammula- Filmmaker
Director Sekhar Kammula heaped praise on Dhanush, calling him a “phenomenal persona” — an actor, director, producer, singer, lyricist, all rolled into one. Confident about the film’s success, he declared, “Kuberaa is a brilliant film. Kuberaa is a very brilliant film. Kuberaa is a very, very, very brilliant film.” He extended his heartfelt thanks to his technical and creative team for their tireless effort and especially lauded costume designer Kavya Sriram, saying she truly deserves an award for her exceptional work.
Nagarjuna – Actor
Veteran actor Nagarjuna shared nostalgic memories of Chennai, reminiscing about being born in Adyar, studying at Guindy Engineering College, marrying someone from Chennai, and beginning his career here. He expressed his gratitude for the continuous love Chennai audiences have shown him and teased, “Right after Kuberaa, Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie is waiting to surprise audiences!”
Dhanush – Actor
As the event neared its emotional peak, Dhanush took the stage, opening with “Oh Namah Shivaay.” Reflecting on the state of the world, he said, “This is Kalikaalam — a time where hatred, negativity, and jealousy thrive; evil seems to prevail over good. I’m grateful to have worked with Sekhar Kammula, a pure soul, like a divine angel from heaven. My heartfelt gratitude and respect to producers Suniel Narang Sir and Jhanvi Narang for their unwavering belief in the story of Kuberaa and for supporting such incredible films time and again!”
Sharing a powerful personal moment, Dhanush recalled shooting his first scene in Kuberaa under the blazing sun, barefoot, in tattered clothes on the lands of Tirupathi, playing a beggar — a role that reminded him of life’s deeper truths. He compared it to his past experience in Banaras during Raanjhaana, where he found himself amidst funeral pyres, realizing that “greed, money, worldly pleasures — they are nothing; what matters is a pure soul.” Dhanush declared with conviction, “This film will make you all realize that. I’m 2000 times confident about the kind of result Kuberaa will bring.”
With a cast and crew deeply passionate about their craft, Kuberaa promises to deliver not just entertainment, but a profound cinematic experience.
