Latest updates: Vijay to play a dual role in ‘Thalapathy 68’, photoshoot in London

Vijay has announced his 68th film directed by Venkat Prabhu, and the union of the fresh combo has surprised fans. The official announcement of the film was made a few months back, and tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 68’ produced by AGS Entertainment is in its pre-production stage.

The latest report suggests that Vijay will be playing a dual role in ‘Thalapathy 68’, and this time it’s expected to be a twin brothers’ role from the stylish actor.

The exclusive update is that the team is all set to take off to London this week. “The look test for Thalapathy 68 will be an intense one as he will be seen in various make overs. The test photoshoot for the film will take place in London early next week.

Earlier, it was said that Jyotika has been considered by the team for the female lead in ‘Thalapathy 68′, and if it happens it will be the actress’ third film with Vijay, after ‘ Kushi’ and ‘Thirumala’.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has been officially confirmed as the composer, and he is scoring music for Vijay after two decades. Siddharth Nuni will be the cinematographer for the project.

Meanwhile, Vijay will be next seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the gangster action drama is scheduled to release on October 18. So, Vijay will be focusing on ‘Leo’ till then, and the shooting of ‘Thalapathy 68’ might commence in November.
