Mohan Babu, reunited in Chennai to commemorate 30 years of the iconic Telugu blockbuster Pedarayudu. Originally released on June 15, 1995, the film remains a timeless classic in Telugu cinema history, known for its powerful storytelling, unforgettable performances, and the onscreen charisma of two of India’s most beloved stars.

To mark the 30-year milestone, Mr. Rajinikanth and Dr. Mohan Babu met in Chennai and celebrated the legacy of Pedarayudu—a film that symbolized strength, loyalty, and unforgettable mass appeal.

Adding to the emotional and celebratory atmosphere, on the very same day, Mr Rajinikanth watched the upcoming magnum opus Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu, in a special private screening alongside his family. Kannappa, slated for a worldwide release on June 27, tells the story of one of Lord Shiva’s greatest devotees, portrayed powerfully by Vishnu.

After the screening, Mr. Rajinikanth expressed deep appreciation for the film. He was visibly moved and described the film as “extraordinary,” applauding Vishnu’s performance and the film’s spiritual depth, visual richness, and emotional core. His words left Dr. Mohan Babu and Vishnu overwhelmed with joy and pride.

Speaking about the moment, Vishnu shared, “I’ve been waiting for this hug from Rajini sir for 22 years. Today, I feel fearless. I feel unstoppable. Kannappa is coming.”
