Dyson expands in India, opens its fourth Dyson Demo Store in Chennai at VR Chennai Owners can test, try and experience Dyson Technology at VR Chennai

October 18, 2019: Dyson today officially opened the doors to its first Dyson Demo Store in the city of Chennai, expanding its presence in India to four demo stores. The retail space has been designed as an interactive space to encourage visitors to pick-up, test and experience Dyson’s technology, which has been engineered for people’s homes and well-being. The new demo store is situated at VR Chennai, located in the neighbourhood of Anna Nagar in the city.

Dyson’s portfolio of key technologies will be on display: Dyson V11 TM cord-free vacuum: The Dyson V11 TM Absolute Pro cord-free vacuum is a result of more than a decade of cord-free vacuum and Dyson digital motor development to intelligently deep clean your home. Thanks to the new Dyson digital motor V11, which spins at up to 125,000rpm, the Dyson V11TM cord-free vacuums provide powerful fade-free suction with 40%more suction power than its predecessor, the Dyson Cyclone V10 TM vacuum[1]. The Dyson V11 TM vacuums bring anew level of intelligence to cleaning, automatically sensing and capturing debris, while reporting vacuum performance on an LCD screen in real time, as well as ‘The Indian Household Hidden Dust Study 2018,’ which shows that cockroaches and dust mites allergens along with dog allergen  are present where we sleep, sit, play and drive.   Visitors to the Dyson Demo Store in Chennai will be able to experience the machine on three different floor surfaces, with a variety of dust and debris at hand.

Visitors will be able to see the Dyson digital motor up-close, and speak to Dyson experts about which technologies are most suitable for their home.   Dyson Air Purifiers:   The new Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ air purifier is uniquely engineered for year round use – delivering fast and even room heating in winter, powerful cooling in summer; and efficient purification -removing 99.95% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.1 microns[2],  from the air, through all seasons. The machine automatically detects airborne particles and gases and simultaneously reports to the new LCD screen and Dyson Link app in real time,encouraging well-being and maintaining comfort levels in the home.  Visitors can also experience the Dyson Pure Cool TM  Advanced Technology Tower air purifier and Dyson Pure CoolTM Advanced Technology Desk air purifier; that automatically detect and capture microscopic airborne pollutants in your home, reporting liveindoor and outdoor air quality to the new Dyson Link App – allowing userstoremotely track the inside air quality at all times.

Dyson engineers set out to rethink the hair dryer.   Dyson Supersonic™ hair-dryer has been designed for fast drying without the reliance on extra heat, while meeting everyday styling needs. Biography  Pete Duckett – Engineering Manager, Dyson Pete Duckett isthe Engineering Manager for Technology Development at Dyson, based in Singapore& Malaysia. Currently, he leads a team of 50+engineers to fine tune and perfect these for improving the quality of air and general wellbeing. A graduate fromthe Coventry University, UK with a masters in Mechanical Engineering, Pete started his engineering career working in material science. In 2003, Pete joined Dyson as a Structural Analysis Engineer working on floor care, and Bal lTechnology, and ran the initial studies that led to the first Airblade.
