Amaran – Tamil Cinema’s Pride – K.E. Gnanavelraja Studio Green Films

Just watched Amaran in Mumbai and I am so proud to be a Producer from Tamil Cinema as the film moved me emotionally and made me feel privileged to be a part of the industry, which brought out this gem of a film.

The life of Major Mukundan Varadarajan, an Ashok Chakra awardee posthumously for his valor and bravery was so effectively brought out on screen by Writer-Director Rajkumar
Periyasamy with so much research and authenticity in every frame of the film. The film is an authentic tribute to the great warrior from Tamil Nadu and my heartfelt appreciations to
Rajkumar for recreating the life of Mukund so well.

Sivakarthikeyan has moved up several steps in his career by portraying the title role so well with perfection and this will be one of his best performances in his career, that will bring in many laurels and recognition to him. I am so proud of his achievement with this film.
No one else could have done justice to the role of Indhu Rebecca Varghese like Sai Pallavi. She was brilliant and courageous throughout the film and amazingly stands out during the climax scenes. The film depicts, along with Mukund Varadarajan, Indhu Rebecca Varghese was also a brave warrior who stood up to the tragedy bravely and became an example for Indian women.

My dear G.V. Prakash Kumar elevated the film in every scene with his outstanding background score, which made the film so engaging and at the same time giving goosebumps at several places. Congrats GV. Proud of you.

India’s Pride, Legend Kamal Haasan sir, Co-Producer Mahendran Sir and Sony Pictures deserve our congratulations and kudos for producing this film so authentically in real
locations, at a high budget and making the film a real tribute to Major Mukund, which will be remembered always as one of the finest films made in Tamil Cinema.

Amaran will not only make Tamil cinema proud but the entire Indian cinema for presenting a biopic in an engaging and emotional manner, that will make every one watching the film,
feel proud of our Indian soldiers. A Proud Indian!
