Trade Commissioner of Papua New Guinea Dr. Vishnu Prabhu met the 15th President of India Her Excellency Shri Draupadi Murmu at the President’s House and Presented the book on the tradition and culture of Tamil Nadu.
What is special about this is that the President Shri Draupathi Murmu belongs to the tribal community. It is worth noting here that Papua New Guinea is also a country with a majority of Tribal indigenous people. Similarly, a floral embroidered shawl made by the traditional Todar community of the Nilgiris district has also been gifted to the President & also presented the world famous Ooty home made chocolates to the President.
