Chennai, November 8th 2024: Grand Chennai by GRT Hotels kick-started the festive season with its traditional Cake Mixing Ceremony, marked by a strong commitment to sustainability and community spirit.
The event drew esteemed Mr.Vikram Cotah, CEO GRT Hotels & Resorts & Celebrity Chef Damu, Extinguished Guests and hotel staff, all gathered to engage in the cherished tradition of holiday cake mixing.
The ceremony featured a twist on tradition with an eco-friendly tree lighting that symbolized growth and environmental responsibility. Each sapling will continue to be nurtured, embodying a sustainable approach to the festive spirit.
The cake mixing itself involved a blend of dried fruits, nuts, and spices, symbolizing unity and the warmth of the season. “This year, our Cake Mixing Ceremony reflects our commitment to both tradition and sustainability. By blending festive customs with eco-conscious practices, we’re setting the tone for a greener holiday season,” said Monideep Jas, General Manager of Grand Chennai by GRT Hotels.
